HOW I DO MY COMPETITION WITH MY BEST FRIEND IN SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL
Haloo gengs. Vivy is back to tell you about the story that I never forgot
Since Senior high school, I always join the competitions with my best team ever. My team was popular in school. They called us “Tiga serangkai”. They are Edwin Reynaldi and Kristian Kalvin S. Edwin and Tian are my teacher for any lesson in the school. It’s always nice if you join the competition and got the award together with your best friend. Our motivation to join any competitions is “Travelling and got the money” HAHA. I think I’ve joined more than five competitions together.
The story has begun when my Bahasa Indonesia teacher called me to join “cerdas cermat Bahasa Indonesia” in my home town. She asked me to find two students to be my team for that competition. So, I came to them and ask them to join that competition. I just said “we can have fun in their guys. It can be interesting if we join that competition together”. So they accepted that competition! We’ve learnt before and we got the first position! so cool.
After that, we joined Cerdas cermat competition about BNN (Badan Narkotika Negara). It was five years ago but it always is my favourite story. We’ve registered the competitions and learnt anythings about the rules of narcotics and anythings about BNN and also basic lesson like math, english, etc. We learnt the materials together in Tian’s house. The competition has begun in the morning and selected three teams to join the final. Thank God. We’re can join the finals in the evening. So, we went home and still learnt the materials. we want to show the best what we can. I still remember how nervous we are but we still stay cool in front of the competitors HAHA.
I always said to them “We are the great team. Stay calm. Stay cool. Keep smiling. We know we have to prepare it. So, just do the best guysss”. uuuuuu. We are so happy because our friend had come to the competition. I still remember our supporter just 7 peoples and our competitor’s supporter is 20x the total from our supporter. Are we felt down? OF COURSE NO MAN. I remember how Edwin said to us “Let show the best performance that we can. They come to see our award”. Before we started the competition, we always prayed to God to bless our competition.
The final time was ready. We really focus on the question. I always sit in the middle of them as “penekan bell” HAHA. I always said to them “We’re a great man. Keep smiling. Stay cool”. I love this team because we always collaborate to think about the answer. If the answer was wrong, another one always said “It’s okay. no problem. SEMANGAT TERUS”. And yeah finally we got the high score and since the three last questions, our score is the highest in the competition. It means it was fixed to get the first position in that competition.
We also joined other competitions like “Cerdas cermat IPS” HAHAHA. Actually, we are a science student but we want to try to join the social competition. We also joined “Lomba cerdas tangkas UUD 1945”. So many memories with them. Are we always discuss the lesson on break time in the school? OF COURSE NOT. We discuss anything including about love HAHA. I Love them more than 3000~~~
So, I want to share how to build your work team:
1. We are not perfect gengs. Don’t push your team to be perfect.
Care each other
2. Always be their cheerleader and said as simple as “semangat”, “We can do it gengs”, “Keep smiling”, “Just have fun gengs”, etc
3. We know we always have a problem but yeah trying to discuss it and find the solution together
4. Just trying do the best with your team and achieve the goals together
